  • As the program manager of our volunteer team-driven repairs for homeowners and nonprofits seeking assistance, the Manager of Build Days and Special Projects conducts home and facility previews to assess needs, design scopes of work and ensure a good match for the skills and interests of sponsoring teams. He/she is responsible for the planning, management and coordination of roughly 10-20 concurrent projects on [Re]Build days, in most cases led by volunteer Site Captains, using general or expert repair skills to train these Site Captains and strong leadership skills to make our signature events successful. This is a full-time, exempt position based in Redwood City, reporting to the Director of Programs.

  • We are looking for an energetic, creative individual to manage our volunteer recruitment and engagement and drive our outreach efforts. As the go-to agency for free home repairs in San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County, we ensure that vulnerable homeowners have safe homes and nonprofit agencies have safe facilities from which to provide services. Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) seeks a strong team player to grow and support our volunteer base and our applicant pool.

  • As the primary contact for current and prospective homeowners and nonprofits seeking assistance, the Client Intake Specialist supports homeowners throughout the application process. You will use strong organizational skills, follow-through and empathy to respond to homeowners’ inquiries, and help them process paperwork. You should be a good problem-solver and comfortable working with traditionally marginalized members of the community. This is a part-time (30 hours per week), non-exempt position based in Redwood City.

  • Since 1993, AmeriCorps and its members have worked to “make service to others an indispensable part of the American experience.” RTP has partnered with AmeriCorps to repair homes, revitalize communities, and rebuild lives for over ten years – members engage in community service to help us preserve affordable home ownership and the diverse fabric of our communities. At the same time, members develop repair skills and receive professional development in leadership and teamwork.
