“There’s no other volunteer experience where you can directly impact someone’s life in one day as much as you can with RTP.”
– Carl, Site Captain
Individual Volunteer Opportunities
Skilled Volunteers
Skilled Volunteers ideally have experience with – or at least an interest in learning – common home repair work including basic carpentry, painting, and minor handyman work. For skilled volunteers with project management and team lead interests, a role as a a Site Captain for a team of volunteers on a Rebuilding Day may be a good fit. Rebuilding Days generally take place in April and October.
Skilled volunteers can enjoy enhancing their skills and the opportunity to network within the community, while providing direct and positive impact.
“It’s really good to give back to the community. It’s good for your soul.” Click on the button below to hear from some of our Skilled Volunteers on their own experience.
General Volunteers
General volunteers might assist with
- office administrative needs

- and more!
Bilingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are valuable to translate marketing materials!
