Rebuilding Together Peninsula (RTP) has partnered with San Mateo County to help county residents affected by lead paint in the home.

“We are excited to work with Rebuilding Together Peninsula to begin the process of inspecting and cleaning homes in our community,” said Donna Spillane, County Health’s deputy director for administration and finance, who is overseeing the program in conjunction with RTP. “This program will eliminate a serious threat to the health and well-being of children in the county.”

This multi-year lead safety program offers qualifying residents remediation service at no cost. This service includes both free inspection and repairs by certified contractors to address unsafe levels of lead paint in the residence.
